After investigating a rattle coming from the Sound Generator on my car, a friend and i have diagnosed that rattle appears to be coming from the spring within the sound generator module. This rattle is caused at around 1100rpm and again at 2000rpm.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a resolution. Is this spring to stop un-meterd air entering the post-MAF intake?
