6mm sticky back foam stuff. It's like memory foam and weighs next to nothing. Not the thin and extremely heavy foil covered vibration damping stuff.
All over the inside of the boot, into the voids above rear wheels, rear bulkhead plastics, door skins and I filled the voids by your shoulders accesible from inside the boot, also the insides of the plastics on the bootlid and the rear light covers.
Oh and the underside of the bonnet, too.
It's by no means a quiet cruiser now, for sure. But it definitely had a noticeable positive result to keep that general road/tyre roar away.
I plan to install the same foam underneath the seats, and what I can get to when I remove the interior to fit some rear speakers, in the new year.
