Sound deadening

I’ve heard that there is something you can remove to make the sound less prominent from the inside but still loud on the outside?

I think you must mean the sound generator. It’s part of the intake system that runs through the fire wall.

Some people take one or both pieces of foam out to get more noise in the cabin. If someone’s removed yours you could use any old piece of foam to deaden the noise a little.

Not all z4’s have sound generators. My 2.5si doesn’t. What model have you got?

Yours will have a sound generator in that case.

If your finding it too loud in the cabin and want it to sound the same I’d just add more foam
