No, I've been terribly dishonest about something I've mentioned numerous times here on the forum and i feel utterly ashamed.
It seems that I've recalled Benny's, my murdered E36 coupe's terminal mileage, a smidge too optimistically. Some of you may recall that I've quoted it as being 270k miles. It isn't. It's more like 260k. 261191 to be precise. Sincerest apologies!
His battery was on the way out when he was tw@tted into back in march and ive only just got round to crawling into the boot through the folding seats (dont ask) to hook up a working battery.
Cranked up first time. Damn, utterly reliable! Why did he have to get a smack in the chops like that??
Anyway, some little chavvy nerd from Amersfoort is interested in taking it to convert into a drift car. What an undignified end to an illustrious career chauffering me around, lol.
