SORN

Hi,
I have a Z3 to sell the problem is it's on a sorn and in my garage hence no road tax and no insurance. If i advertise it for sale prospective purchasers will want a test drive . As I see it I will have to tax and insure the car prior, this is expensive . Has anyone had a similar problem and if so are there any ways to get around it.

Anyone looking for a Z3 THIS IS A NICE ONE 98 [R REG] ONE OWNER BEFORE US 54K MILES FULL SERVICE HISTORY ATLANTA BLUE . looking for about £2600 Only selling because we have bought Z4 Coupe. Can email pictures of Z3 if anyone interested
Thanks.

Nope. No way around it. If anyone wants to drive the car, it'll have to come off its SORN, must have tax and someone will have to insure it... either you or them, but can't see many prospective buyers wanting to do that unless they are pretty sure beforehand that they want to buy...

If its taxed it will help sell it.

And most insurers will let you add a car to an existing policy on a 30-day basis at a reasonable rate. It could mean the difference between getting a good price and a bad one.

And a one-owner, 53K miler shouldn't hang about for long......JFDI :poke:
