I'm looking for some 'laid up' insurance for the M in the next few days and wondered who anybody else uses? I'm moving my current policy onto another car so I need a new policy, anybody else do this?

Cheers

Classic line don't use no claims so good for new policies.

However there was a recent thread on here about laud up insurance and unless you are paying a fortune it's not worth it, just keep the normal fully comp running.

Mines only £200 a year so how much would I save after admin fees etc.

Christ mines about £600  I need the normal policy for another I'm running over the winter, otherwise I can't use the no claims. Think I need to shop about for my normal policy as well then!!!

Sounds a lot. Mines £360 and I'm 33, and not too far from you. Might be worth checking on some comparison sites Paul.

I've just been quoted by Adrian Flux £250 for a laid up policy with a £2k excess and fire/theft only!!

Adrian Flux are just rip off merchents , they wanted double what I paid Direct Line for the TVR
