Evening Tom

It's purely the finish that's different

Hahaha it's like an expensive piƱata ;)

Mate I'm so anal my lock nuts sit either side of M badge on wheel
The central cap is in line with m badge

So trust my I did laugh at the epic fail to line them up and wonder why hahahaha
+1 badges inline and lock nut opposite air valve

Haha too right az4
Bugs me when things aren't lines up or the same ie RR with self levelling centres

And thank you jjm:)

Keep them in the cupboard and use the reps. :D

I put the tiniest dink in one of mine a couple of weeks ago with some hasty parking. Devastating...

Noooooooooo!!
I'd cry if did buddy

Hence im polishing and putting ceramic coatings on them before on car

I'm a bit torn with these - I *love* the look of OEM CSLs but I'm also a fan of the standard 18" rims as well (I think it's only me and Exdos who like the standard wheels...!) Plus there's the ride considerations blah blah :poke:

Anyway - I have a point here - does anyone know the weight difference between the OEM 18's and the OEM 19's?? That might be a deciding factor for my man maths...

The CSL wheels are pretty heavy at 12.62kg front and 13.79kg rear.

Standard Style 224 are 11.2kg front and 11.7kg rear.

I like the 224s but love the CSLs:)
Handling wise prefer them also

That might be the boxed weight. The rims are 10.4kg front and 11.2kg rear.

Definitely lighter than the 224s! Picking up a 224 is like picking up a carton of milk that's got much more milk in it than you thought.

Correct, I've weighed both myself and can confirm the CSLs are considerably lighter than the 224s, unfortunately I do not have the figures to hand. I think you'd be hard pushed to find an 18" rim that weighs more tbh.
eta
I've just done a quick google and someone else has weighed them 12.5kg front 13.6kg rear.

CSLs are about 10.5 and 11.1 rear

I can assure you the CSLs weigh nothing in comparison to the 224s by a lot!

Haha
I'm not taking my wheels off
Standing like a goon looking like a really crap scales of justice for anybody haha
