Hi guys,

After selling my Zed at the end of 2010 and having a 335i Coupe since, I've decided to go back to another. I've missed the open top motoring too much (used to do near enough every journey with the roof down at least part of the way :driving: )

This week I've put a deposit on a very highly spec'd 3.0i SE Roadster and if all goes to plan will pick it up on Sunday, so more details and pics to come then :D I really can't wait!! :D

Looking forward to seeing people again and meeting more of you at events this year 8)

Welcome back Matty. Was the 335 coupe really that bad? Am really tempted by one I would even say theres a very good chance it will be my next purchase (please do'nt publicly flog me) :telloff:

Thanks chaps, pics will be up as soon as possible after getting it :D

tabbie, the 335 wasn't bad at all, in fact it was very good, for me actually too good a car in that it's a more refined, smoother drive, and very very fast, it's so easy to be doing silly speeds on nice roads. I found personally I prefer rawer, purer sports cars like the Zed. I'd recommend the 335 though and would have another, just not for me at the mo as a weekend & holiday car. They're fantastic cars, and excellent all-rounders with the performance, handling (& very planted), economy, practicality & style  Feel free to give me any queries about them and I'll help if I can :)

I had the same 'problem' in a 1 series courtesy car. Really, really hard to keep the speed down since 60mph felt more like 40.
