Sony Bravia Help

Are there any TV buffs out there lol :)

My trusty Sony Bravia suddenly packed up last weekend, from what I could gather the PCB board had gone on it, thought of having it repaired but decided to go for a replacement. I've tended to stick with Bravias as always been impressed overall, the pic quality on the old one was superb.

Anyways I had trouble actually finding anywhere that stocked the model I wanted so ordered directly from Sony its this model,

Anyways I'm pulling my hair out trying to obtain a good picture and there is nothing on the Web regarding calibration as the model is still too new. I have tried calibrating using other recommendations for older models but the pic quality seems a tad washed out and nowhere near my old Bravia for quality and vibrancy. There are like a zillion options when calibrating so I'm wishing now I had got the old one repaired :(

Cheers,

Tim.

I used to be a Bravia fan but went for Panasonic Vega last time I replaced the main TV, great picture and sound.

Sorry Tim, not much help is it?

lol thanks John, I've heard Panasonics are one of the most reliable TVs but I've tended to stick with what I know when buying :|

I've been playing around with the white balance and seems better but I'm just finding some programmes are spot on whilst others dissapointing and poor, will just have to keep messing with it :|

Google the make and model number and you might find AV forum or something like it that may have some better settings for you.
