Just going to advertise this here for the time being before I think about selling on the dedicated sites and all the stupid questions, time wasters and tyre kickers they attract. At least here I hope anyone one looking for one will be more of a clued up buyer who knows what they want.

Anyway sorry for the rant, the car: Fantastic condition M-sport convertible in the desirable combination of sparkling graphite, full black leather and black cube trim, 72k but will change. These cars offer a rare combination of great performance and sports car looks with the economy and running costs of a modern diesel engine, 204bhp, 40+mpg & £240/year tax.

Includes Heated memory seats, auto lights, wipers, int mirror, Rear PDC, MP3 compatible headunit, MV-2 wheels in good original condition, no refurb hiding any horrors, no curbing.

This one has been properly maintained and if you have done your research on these cars the following list will make for pleasant and reassuring reading:
Full service history:
18K - Oil service,
BMW 29K - Insp 1,
BMW 41K - Insp 2,
Indy 56K - Insp 1,
Indy 70K - Insp 1, BMW + brake fluid

Next service 16k away and is only an oil service.

Additional work including, swirl flaps removed(essential), egr and inlet manifold cleaned at same time, new style vortex crankcase breather fitted, new anti roll bar links, front control arm rear bushed replaced with powerflex, new Meyle propshaft dounut, New air filter – often missed due to access, Phillips extreme headlight bulbs, new style flat blade wipers and new front tyres.

That lot covers pretty much all of the well documented weak areas of the E46 so making this one a supurb purchase, all above work carried out within the last 4k miles while in my ownership.

Paintwork has always been protected with synthetic polish and sealants and is in tip top condition, roof has been cleaned and proofed with the autoglym cabrio roof kit so water beads off beautifully, leather regularly conditioned and in fantastic condition.

This is a beautiful car owned and maintained by a genuine BMW enthusiast and had no expense spared in its up keep and maintenance, drives beautifully. Please feel free to arrange a viewing and compare this one to any others you have seen, come and have a look with no obligation to buy.

Reason for sale is I work as an engineering contractor and the last contract I had was working where there was a long commute so I bought this, as such its only covered motorway miles in my ownership. My next contract should be closer to home so I want to try a bit of bmw v8 ownership.

Due to the condition and the amount of work I have put into it asking price is £11250 Any questions, please ask.

Took loads of pics so here are a few, please contact me if you want more.

very nice, considered one just before buying the Z4.
the only reason I didn't get one was the back seats as I wouldn't use them :P

good luck with the sale, looks great

Genuine ZHP knob possibly for sale seperately as iv just bought a new bmw performance one.

How much do they normally go for?

Thinking if there is no interest in the car I might as well enjoy it over summer and tart it up abit with a new knob and possibly some new rims :driving:

Going to drag this back from the depths of time, got no interest last time so decided to keep it another year as its a fantastic car.

Car is basically as before but with 94k on it now, had the service done recently by BMW, MOT till march and loads of TAX.

This time around im a bit more motivated to sell and iv got a house purchase looming and could do with freeing up some cash, as you will see form my other thread iv bought a cheap E38 for motoway duties so this currently isnt being used.

Prices for these seem to vary between 7-9k depending on milage and condition, this is in fantastic shape so think £7800 is a fair price.

Sensible offers considered.

They are hosted on facebook so depending on your work server the links may be blocked?
