Something positive to say about stealers !

Our local Stealer is only about a mile from our village ( the only BMW garage down here ) so nice and handy. An old blokey seems to have been running the parts dept for years ( old coming from me is a bit cheeky as he's probably the same age as me ). What a bloody nice bloke - nothing is too much trouble . What amazes me is no matter how small and obscure the part may be he can get it to you the following day. My old zed had a small bit of plastic missing from inside the door ( no problem sir ) My new zed had the rubbery thingee missing from the top of the roof hinge ( again no problem ) arrived the next day - cost £2.56 .However did find the original part in the glovebox - previous owner must have found it and wondered where it came from - so now I have a spare ! My point is BMW seem to be able to get any part no matter how small - a bit different from some of my previous cars - mind you my last one was a Lotus !!

I'm glad you had such a positive experience. Mine has been just the opposite. $9 for a plastic interior screw cover the size of a US nickel. Each. Service managers that argue with me about what features were offered on my car (that they managed to turn off when programming the alarm, and then again during the next visit). Damage to my roof after a dealer wash. I could go on, but I'll leave it at that. If all dealerships were like yours, BMW would truly be the ultimate driving machine. Service after the sale is a big part of the equation. I love my car, but dislike the company and its culture of subpar service.

Next day on parts is standard service, nothing to write home about.

May be so but nice to treated with respect and go out of their way to help.

Let me guess... Ocean in Falmouth per chance?

Best BMW dealer I've ever used.
