Something more grown up?

It's been about six months now for me in sunny Gothenburg with my Z4M which is now at 5 years of my ownership.
I can't actually believe I've had the Z4M this long already, but it's been the one constant whilst my work/home has changed a few times over.

I still adore the car in many ways but I can't get past the feeling of wanting to find something different in the next year or so.

I live in an apartment the city center, making keeping two cars not really workable. I barely need a car, public transport here works :o , but still very much want the freedom of a car and possibly something to make a project.

What I want -
-slightly more practical. 4 seats and a good sized boot would be useful.
-DCT style gearbox. The manual Z4M with it's heavy steering on a cold day or short journey around town can be a drag.
-Still want plenty of power, that special feeling when you press the loud pedal.
-Something I can cruise around Europe in and then have a bit of fun on some back roads or a race track.

So far I've been weighing up-
M2 - exterior lovely, interior big disappointment, not great value compared to the other options and will likely depreciate a lot
M3/M4 - exterior ok but I'm not sure on the M4 proportions, interior much much nicer, better value but still going to depreciate like a stone
R35 GTR - exterior is great, interior is acceptable, modding possibilities interest me, prices seem to be stable but servicing is costly and frequent
M5 - F10 models a few years old look like good value, awesome power, but is it too much of a barge?
Z4M Coupe - my left field thought, slightly more practical but not much and doesn't get past the ease of driving aspect. But it's the much cheaper option, allowing more "project" budget.

Porsche's have crossed my mind, but nothing has stuck as a "want", other than the out of my price range models

Any experience of the above?

S65 M3 with an aftermarket 'zorst, saw/heard one today, better sounding than our motors and the down-blip is fab. Might be flawed in some ways - and you might need more parking space- but worth considering

I've not got much interest in the previous generation M3, never quite did it for me and it seems plenty of people from here have gone Z4M to M3 and regretted it.

C63 is not quite there either. Noise alone isn't enough.

Jag F Type?

I have two cars on my list for my 30th birthday which is soon coming round. Am F type and a Alfa 4c :driving:

Need to test drive one thinks

35Is ? With a tweak they have performance very little can match for the £ , has coupe looks & feel with roof up but also convertible option ?
I would look to mothball the MR in the meantime though

Renault Clio RS Sport 197 is clearly what you need and don't forget the baseball cap.

I have thought of mothballing the MR for a while and just buying something more mundane for a while but storage here isn't easy to find. It is still a good option though.
I'm not sure on the 35is, the boot space is the biggest draw back, but maybe it's worth a try for a while.
