Someone should make a half repair section

for the front bumper cover.

Don't know what a facelift bumper cover is like (mine is per-facelift) but...

On the road today I drove over a dead racoon, it made some noise and I saw it bouncing around when I looked in the rear view.

Got home and checked under the car. No damage, just had to clean some blood and fat off the bottom of the rear bumper cover.

But, when looking at the front cover I noticed that the previous owner had scraped the bottom up a bit. Nothing can be seen when standing up, you have to lay on the ground to see it. So I was looking at the cover and there is a body line where that area meets the rest of the cover. I looked closely thinking maybe it was a separate part. As far as I can tell, it is not.

I'm sure there are many Zed owners out there that would want one. My 98 Z3 had a cracked bumper cover that I made a lame attempt at repairing. It was OK but I didn't love the repair.

Anyway a carbon fiber replacement section would be a nice option to have for repair. I can see one cutting off the bottom of the cover at the line I mentioned and adhering the replacement on the remainder of the bumper , would be almost a seamless repair. A less expensive version could be fiberglass that you could paint to match your car. The carbon fiber one would look good as is (in some people's eyes).

Maybe something like this already exists..? If not some enterprising person should take that ball and run with it. Just might be a decent seller.
