Someone seems to have needed my headlight washer morethen me

So are someone had taken my headlight washer covers.
I was getting pissed off looking and the bumper with the holes in.
Been looking for ages to replace them and works out about £130 with being sprayed, I don't want them to work think there pointless.

Went to the scrap yard today to get a fog light for the misses 1 series and see a Honda civic with washer covers, only car with a front bumper in there. 💡 I'll make them fit
Cost me £4 and can't believe the colour is not to far off.

That will do untill I get a new bumper an yes my Headlight are f##ked.
Cheap fix 💪

Oh s**t really 😂 that's cool got 10 months to get the new bumper

I thought it was just the washer covers you needed? By the way, your cover may not have been thieved as the covers have been known to make a bid for freedom sometimes :o

Well that makes me feel a bit better that no one mite of nicked them.
Yeah it was just the tops missing, so I've taken the fuse out so it don't pop them off

Ah, you’ve had both go missing at once? Unlikely to be a natural occurrence then! I thought you just had the one disappear.

When Ross (bowser134) replaced my leaky washer jet a couple of weeks ago we discovered that one of my caps had a broken clip, so was ready to fly off!

I ordered a new one from Sopers last week and it's only about £15, but that is unpainted. They will paint them for £30+ VAT each cover, but I might have a go myself.

I've also pulled fuse 40 as they do seem pretty pointless, but I read somewhere it isn't an MOT failure even with Xenons if the car was registered before 2009 - I'll find out in a few months!

Hope that's right I won't have to change them lol

I have a pair of unpainted ones and I’m planning on doing some silicon moulding..... this is one of a few select parts I plan on reproducing

Initially I’m planning to make copies just for myself but if anyone else wants any I’ll gladly knock a few out

Painting these with a rattle can wouldn't be too hard since it is such a small part. Saying that I don't think a small independent body shop would charge more than 30 - 40 GBP for the pair.
