Somebody tried to hack my eBay account!

Sat in the barbers today waiting my turn and got a text message.

It was not in english, so I copied it into google translate and it was Italian, an eBay 1 time code for 2 factor authentication!

Then my phone had loads of them:



Changed my password and they stopped. So does this mean they actually had my password?

Quite scary. Changed some other passwords as well.

The IT mafia has you in their sights :thumbsdown: Id be changing all your passwords, they most likely had it yes, mine was hacked years ago and had £800 spent on it on one transaction for a fancy new laptop, probably so they could expand their empire b'stards the lot of em

Yeah, guess it was only a matter of time before I got targeted (that I know about!). Thank god I turned on 2 factor a year or two ago!
