Mate gutted for you!! Like others have sad know way they could not have noticed that!!

If you don't get anywhere with CCTV ( hope you do ) and fab direct have one the right colour I can help you fit that. Might save you a few ££ going through insurance.

Hope it gets sorted and the scumbag suffers dearly!!

Thanks very much with your offer of help I will check it out. The inner arch is also bent though and it's quite a dent so I'll want to know if there's any more damage underneath. It might just be a case of paying the excess and taking it on the chin.

I m sorry to say this but it a common occurrence on school car parks. My sisters kids go to a private school in Chester, and the moms all drive brand new 4x4 s like bumping cars!

Bloody horrific sights on there!

Gutted for you. Mrs G did revers over a push bike once and not notice. untill the knock on the door from the rossers. Hard to belive you wouldn't know you had done that though.

There must be damage on the other vehicle. Time to stake out the school for a few days and see who's not driving there white 4x4.

The good news is there is fresh air behind the panel. There is a picture of mine on here when I removed my wing. If you can get one in the right colour I would and avoid the insurance. Just make sure the edges of the wing haven't been pulled in so messing the brackets up.

Same thing happened to a friend (not a Zed) yesterday. Luckily she has CCTV already and a witness managed to get the 1st 3 digits of the plate.
Makes my blood boil. I'd be camped out at the car park gate checking all the cars coming and going for the next couple of days, camera in hand to record any corresponding damage.

Luckily the Z is a little like a land rover when it comes to changing panels. Most of them are easy to remove/replace.

That's terrible, gutted for you.

Personally I'd be doing everything I can to find the person responsible (as I'm sure you are), if it's a school car park it will be regular users... and you'd think they'd have CCTV.

Hope you get it sorted at minimal cost
 
I think one word describes it really... tw@t.

Someone near me has a Lambo Gallardo, some low-life yob poured paint stripper on it last Monday - £10k worth of damage! Some people are just amazingly on another planet. Not that your damage was done on purpose though, but still horrible just to drive off.
 
That's quite a whack!

Hope you can find another wing in the right colour, if not I'd be buying one and having it painted. Second hand wing + 200 for paint is going to be cheaper than paying excess and increase for 5 years!
 
As you said, looks like a 4x4 and if it was a Range Rover clipping on it's overhang, they might not have noticed. Hope there's functioning CCTV. When someone did my S-Max door, it was all on CCTV but out of focus because a spider had moved in and it was focussing on the web! :headbang:
 
Thats bullshit, problem with that colour is its unlikely to match without any blending. Autorads in sheffield sell new wings for 120 plus vat if that helps. But painting and fitting won't be cheap. Hope u catch the f***ers!
