After getting the wheels refurbished, new Vori's all round, both front wings sorted ( needed some paint bubbling done ) and the 20mm rear spacers fitted. It was time to give the old girl a little TLC. I'll be taking a few days to really sort the paint out next week, although it looks great it could do with some winter prep. Clay ( much needed ) and fine swirls removed with a good final finish.

Today was about a good wash, foam, headlight restoration and seal with 845 and a quick coat of wax.

Happy enough for now, looks OEM with a nice drop from the H&R's. Now for some nice seats and focus on the interior.

No spacers in the front as yet. Was going to go 15mm but I reckon I'll catch and I can't be arsed with that. 12's may be OK through. Ordering this week so it'll have a bit more even look by then. I have the H&R springs, the lowest ones they do. It can be an issue on big short speed humps though and the grinding noise underneath can be scary. It doesn't look too low in pics but it does sit low in the metal.

Going to get a daily 118d 1 series for the winter so don't have to worry about messing the Z up

Top work all round :) i kinda like the staggered emphasis with rear spaced but fronts not , looks good to me

Yeah it's in great condition now the little bubbling on the wings is fixed. Once the seats are in the interior should look well too

Strangely I don't mind it either and I'll not have any issues this way I guess. Its not like it looks terrible as it is now. Focus now is the interior with some Cipher seats on the cards and I'm really wanting a proper short shift kit with the gear knob to Steering wheel level. I've had this before and it really makes the car so much more fun to hoon about in.

12mm spacers with oem wheels will be absolutely fine. Had these with 108s and eibachs with no rubbing problems whatsoever

I think I'm leaving it as is to be honest, I thought it may look odd but it sits really well from all angels now. :driving:

+1
Just put 20mm spacers on the back of mine and leaving the front alone. Looks fine and gets it away from the dinkytoy in-board wheels look.
