but my question is, the panel gap on the front wing is quite big on one side...... not wanting to go back to glasgow to get it sorted, is there anything i can do??

very nice loving the red leather

i would send the pics to the saleman for his opinion and perhaps call in for a second opinion at ur local bm dealer

Panel gap does look quite big, but your local dealer will look at it for you.

What do the paddles look like please?

Might be worth just checking the rubber bump stop for the passenger side, if its set too high the bonnet will be high on that side. They normally just twist to set them higher or lower. I can't tell from your pics if the bonnet front edge is sitting high?

Tim.

You can go to any dealer near you if the car is under new car/AUC warranty. You don't have to go back to the dealer that you bought it from. The gap on near side looks normal to me.

I've noticed the same with my car - same spec except mines a manual. I think the fact that it is white makes the gap seem a little bigger. I don't think it's anything to worry about

Lovely looking car tho!

cheers guys, i will pay my local dealer a visit tomorrow. im not too concerned but the gap is noticeably bigger on that side as i can get my finger in it but not on the other side. will try popping the bonnet first and looking for any adjustments i can make first

mike, i'll get pics of the paddles tomorrow as its getting dark out now :D

We had exactly the same problem Envy. Just before we called the dealers I checked the bonnet was shut properly......................I think you can tell how it ended.

lol i've not opened the bonnet yet :D

Has your got the amended paddles? As the one I test drove you could up or down shift with both of them which was rather confusing! Have seen the newer ones are more logical one to go up and to down shift :)

Gorgeous car and brave man parking on the side of the road ;)

yeah mine has the amended paddles with up on one side and down on the other. my z4 coupe auto has the old style ones which are a bit pants really :D

lol got no choice so have to park on the road and the kerbs are freaking high...... its pretty safe here. i've had a few nice cars and none of them have been touched on my road.... touch wood :)
