Some Mad fool let me drive this yesterday...

Still don't like the side profile but the front and rear is great. The interior has the same seats as the TT which I though was a bit out of place on such an expensive motor, but I wouldn't say no to one :D

I watched the making of these cars on Megafactories On Sky yesterday, Very impressive, Only people who have had more than 15 years service are allowed to work on the build. They call it the silver line.
I am guessing he either bought it second hand or changed his mind about the colour, according to Audi they will paint it any colour you want.

You can buy an R8 for £84k now and I have considered them, but the trouble is they have been out quite a while now and Audi must be looking to update the model ?

Cheryl was selling hers not long ago. You could've been sitting on her very seat!

he believes there only around 3 yellow R8's in the world

my mate's got a pale yellow R8 Pete Martin from llandrindod wells had it done in Jcb yellow from the factory to match his diggers,(he had a yellow RS4 before) with original guvnor's one in brum thats all 3 yellow ones accounted for !

That has got to be the worst colour I have ever seen. Hope he got a BIG discount? Colour would put me off to be honest.........

i saw a yellow one in the birmingham bullring yesterday.

I quite like the R8.. my friend had one for the weekend (as part of his company car scheme) and you can cruise around in traffic quite happily in them.

Although they have a massive petrol tank.... so after us doing 50 odd miles and the petrol guage only shifting one line we were amazed how efficient it was.. until he filled it up and it took close to £35 of petrol!

awesome car, drove the R8V10 Spyder just before xmas, totally amazing. but why the hell did he have it in yellow? looks garbage.
