Sucker for yellow and black, definitely stands out :thumbsup: have you thought about getting leather hoop covers? Extended leather was an option on the E85, not sure if its available for the E89?

Extended leather is an option on the e89, I have it. It doesn't cover the hoops though. Nor that cheap plastic around the windscreen!

Tim - each to their own, the style is lovely, perhaps a smoked chrome would look better on mine.
 
I have body coloured grills with chrome surround, it was the first change I made to the car when I bought it. I'd go take a photo but it's raining a bit :)
 
Do it Carol I think that will look fantastic - I'd think about a carbon wrap the roll bars and even the wing mirrors and deffo black the wheels! 8)

Agree each and too their own, hints too much of the Saxo, Corsa brigade for my likeing. Problem is with black alloys they make the wheels look diddy :) I would say yes on a white M3 but thats about it.

I've seen body coloured hoops on the e89 ( a red one ) and it was overkill. Def best to keep silver or black. Or perhaps a carbon black or carbon silver wrap?

I'm saving for some carbon mirror caps and carbon front splitters. Might get carbon hoops for it too. Nice thing about the carbon on a black car is that it adds a hint rather than looking like mod hell.

Would be interested to know where you source some carbon mirror caps from, there's not many places that do the full shell replacements rather than stick on types and also if the fit is good. Already been burnt as I got ripped off by a company who never sent the goods :x
