Some drivers....

So we have just had about 10inches of snow in the last few hours here in Bolton...I'm sat watching TV and can hear the sweet sound of VRRRUUMMMMM VRRUUUUMMM in the background. I take a look outside and there is a Volvo c30 stuck in the middle of the private road in the development I live in, blocking any traffic ,should anyone else be stupid enough to venture out, and the car park.. The driver then gets out, in her heels, and starts kicking the snow away from the rear wheels (on a front wheel drive car). At this point I put on my shoes, got something to shovel with, and some grit, and with a bit of digging, and driving advice, saved the day. She got stuck again a bit further up so I helped again... Moving a little further she got stuck again and I advised her to park up and not bother risking going any further (it's a small incline to the main road). I got her parked up safely and returned back to my apartment.. Freeing a deliver driver from his fate as well on the way. In my apartment again I can hear the VROOOOOM again...I look out, and she's only set off up the incline from where I left her..... :headbang:

What can you do??? On this occasion I've left her to learn a lesson

Alright alright I was just checking!!! Hahaha

This was taken about an hour ago, before she got stuck. Apparently she was off to her parents to stay the night...but she looked and smelt pretty good so I am guessing she said that so I carried on helping her, rather than I'm off to my boyfriends. Although she did tell me what number she lived at, and made reference to my mrs as if to check whether I had one.

Was it at least an R-Design? If not I wouldnt have bothered helping .. unless she was smoking of course!

I think it was, white, had the body coloured bumpers/kit, tinted windows.... And she was smoking. So two ticks

It's been abandoned where it is....

The snows still coming down here! Hope it stays around tomorrow so I can take the little lad sledging and build a snowman etc (for his sake, not mine... I hate snow, honest). Even better I could see whether my brother wants to spend the day playing in his landy!

Wow - that's an awesome amount of snow. We've got none here now... Don't know whether to be jealous, or to gloat about the blue skies we have that mean roof down hooning is on :D

Same amount here in the peak.
I have just pushed a bonnet height stack of snow down to the main road!
It's like having your own little snow plough. :D
I love my Alpins!

Thats a really very funny, especially with the pics!

Thanks for sharing... Really brightened up my morning

I'm in Horwich and drove home from Stockport in that last night, was about 2 mins behind a 5 car incident that left one vehicle unlit in lane 3 (scary) then less than a mile later there was a Range rover on the other carriageway that had smashed into the central reservation, M61 was a whiteout, single file 35MPH and couldn't see any road markings or sighns (it is an unlit motorway to make it worse) then 2 cars pretty much blocking a 3 lane carriageway (de haviland way) (an A4 estate and a merc). FWD's were fretting stuck on small inclines and the 4X4 brigade were out in force helping out.

I drove round the lot of it safely by taking my time and pure driver skill - Don't think my winter tyres helped much

Seriously, I wouldn't have had a hope without the tyres

That chic, are you sure she just wasn't after getting your attention & your number... especially after getting you out the house that many times.

.....& as for that 10 inches, not surprised why women have so many accidents if blokes keep telling them this big
<........ .......................... > is really this big
<.... >

Lol ....
