Solo hooning ideas?

 The Cotswolds
So in the June bank holiday week, I will be alone with #69 and will spend some time fettling then hooning. Thinking about loading up with the camera gear and exploring if the weather looks ok.

I'm in the Cotswolds and wondering where to explore for both driving and photo opportunities. I like the coast a lot.

Any ideas? Quite happy to book a hotel for the night if it's a longer run.

Also, if anyone fancies an informal meet and a coffee...

Stuart, i went through cheddar gorge today. Its an awesome road with the top down. ( i went up and down a number of times once wasn't enough ) and its not very far from the cotswolds .

If Scotland is too far, then how about a weekend in Wales? It's where I do most of my solo/small group hooning.

You've got the Black Mountains around Brecon, lovely roads around Bala/Betws-y-coed/Snowdonia, and some hidden gems around the Elan Valley.

You can easily do 200+ miles in a day, and base yourself in a nice country pub/hotel somewhere in the middle.

Love Wales, but that 70 mile A road from the middle of Loch Ness to the Isle of Skye is breathtakingly beautify as it is fast... never saw the Rozzers on that road (think it's the A887) but what a blast.
