Solenoids - best place to buy.

My car has thrown up a p1554 code. I think the solenoids are due replacement as the car has done 103k and I can feel slight hesitation in low revs, high gear under WOT.

Noob question though, do I replace both, and also, where's the best place to purchase?

Def do both, I've seen some on Autodoc for about 85 each, Vaico, have been recommend on here before.

I bought from autodoc Febi bilstein brand, no issues after fitting, they seemed nearly identical to oem. About 65£ each.

if you are talking Vanos solenoids I replaced both on a 3.0si 2 years ago and the car has been running fine since.
I bought pattern parts - chinese for £48 for a pair - they dont seem to be selling at present.
There were other opinions about fitting OEM but these were 2-3 times the price.
So far the chinese ones remain spot on.
