SOLD

Unfortunately it is now time to sell the car. I have had a lot of fun with the car, but it is now time to let go and let someone else enjoy.

To briefly summarise it is a bmw z4 E85 manual in sapphire black, with the 3.0i engine (2004 model). It comes with red leathers along with heated electric memory seats. It also has the 6 cd changer, original bmw first aid kit, cruise control, aux input, decent sound system, M sport suspension, monkey exhaust tips, short stubby, wind deflector and also bmw tool kit (blue box).
The car has full service history (a mixture of dealer, specialist and private stamps), with the most recent done 7000 miles ago by a bmw specialist which was an inspection 2 service. It is currently sitting on 92k miles.

Thanks

I can't justify my insurance renewal quote going up by £400 to £1500!!!

But will keep it until summer if it doesn't sell, and try again with insurance.

You must have got your self a load of points or your insurers are insane, that's one hell of a jump on price.

My thoughts exactly! I would of thought an extra years NCB, extra year of driving experience and being a year older would equate to a discounted renewal price, but clearly not!

Insurance prices are a load of bollocks!!!

Presumably you've run the details through a couple of comparison sites, and not just going on the renewal quote from your existing insurer?

They are pulling your pants down. Its not even that much to insure an M Coupe (with a clean driving record) I would be shopping round. Declare it SORN and start looking!

Good Luck

On comparison websites in getting around the same as last year £1200, but that's with a telematics box.

I still have 2 weeks till renewal to have a look around properly.

Try Brentacres. I haven't got a z4 yet but I've renewed with the in preparation for a z4 as they're 445 for 16k miles with business use. And they include all non bhp mods without additional charge. Thats for a 29yo with 8 years ncb.

Might have to try that, I'm expecting close to a £1k anyway due to being 22 and only 3 years NCB.
