SOLD

Please somebody buy this!

I have the same model and still so tempted to buy this and then sell mine.

Best looking Roadster I have seen, all the best with the sale.

Thank you Wozz! I have to say, yours looks pretty nice too - but then I am biased! :)

If you don't mind me asking (all in the effort to maybe see if you can keep the car) how much cheaper will your mortgage repayment be per month if you sold the car and got the lower LTV rate?

Definitely don't mind you asking! I've never been one to shy away from money talk!

The mortgage will be £150 per month less, though of course that's not the full picture - I'll also save a lot in interest.

The other factor I hadn't anticipated though was the new job. I cycle to work at the moment, and the new job means driving a huge amount of miles.

My partner also works for Audi, so the plan is to go back into the car scheme there - The deals are very cheap, and of course there's no capital employed.

Oh ok fair enough. I've nearly made the mistake of trying to organise a bigger deposit just to save around £50 per month, which is why I asked.

P.S. have you tried Woolwich? I'm looking to get 3.08% with 75% LTV. This is on a new mortgage though.

Wish people wouldn't post these tempations - been fancying an Imola Raodster for awhile and this is silly money.

Anyone want a Monaco Coupe (or the Mrs's bright red coupe :silence:) ?

Not tried Woolwich, but ours will be lower than 3.08% due to lower LTV. I have a master plan to wipe out the mortgage within 5 years, so this is just 'Phase 1'.

Come April, I would imagine it would fetch a fair amount more, but timing is unfortunately not on my side!

Hi IK

Can I make a couple of suggestions , from someone who has sold 6 cars this year now , and 4 of which I sold via ebay at a fixed price listing it's 30 days and only costs £14.99, so represents great value. Someone for Germany bought my Audi last month as it represented good value so was worth the trip.

The reason I used ebay now is that it reaches a far great audience, than pistonheads which is limited at best and that’s before they made everyone pay for an ad (I used to use it loads). Also the forum is quite niche as well so many not reach a big enough audience and Autotrader is far too expensive for a decent ad.

Of course this is IMO but just based on my experience I would suggest its worth ago, most mortgage offers are valid for 6 months so you should have a bit of time on your hands.

On a separate points I would also take new pictures of the car, it looks stunning as she is but you’re selling a product so therefore a pictures is a thousand words you want a scene that focus on the car purely is only best advice. I normally nip up to a big house and gates which is national trust I think up near Malmesbury , as it’s a stunning setting and would match a beautiful car like yours.

I think the write up is great very informative , the only thing I would knock out of the ad is the reason for sale , as it puts you at a disadvantage as they know your circumstances I would purely put genuine reason of sale. Also if you do place the car on Ebay put her up for £12999.00 with best offers give yourself so room for movement as people like to feel there getting a deal.

This was my last ad on fleebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290620633742?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm570.l1313%26_nkw%3D290620633742%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

This is of course only my view and I could be talking rubbish!! and please do not take any offence only trying to help a fellow member, but I have personally sold 50+ cars and every time I have sold within 3 weeks for a price I wanted. The Pictures are so important as is a professional write up as most people are happy to travel these days.

Best of luck with the sale

P.s if you use ebay when doing your listing go into hmtl section and input your pictures via this that way the appear in the ad and no cost to you!! :D - If you get stuck pm me.

Patrick

You did present that Audi well Paza, wish I would of had more imagination when selling my hardtop as I may of got more money out of you haha :poke: Back to the post think Paza had made some postive points and hopefully they go a long way to sell this stunning motor :)

Cracking ad' from Paza, there really isn't anything left for a buyer to ask and they can see exactly what the car is like. I'll certainly try something similar on ebay next time I sell.

I don't see why this hasn't sold already! I have 3 good leads and have had an offer of the asking price over the phone already!

Not a great time of year to sell on the run up to Christmas?
People are nervous of big purchases as the message that we are on the verge of a massive recession starts to get through?
Petrol and road tax are now silly money and there is a shift towards smaller engines and diesels?

Surely won't be around much longer? Looks a lovely car in that colour with those wheels.

Wish my job was more secure, and i would snap this off u in an instant.

Good luck with the sale...lovely looking car :D
,and playalistic did some good mods

Thanks Craig. Hopefully a buyer will come along soon - especially at this price!
