They do look nice those m3 seats and a good alternative to the normal z4 m sport seats route. The only question I have is do they sit higher in their lowest position than the m sport z4 ones?

Iirc they go as low, but the back of the seat is thicker so can't go as far back?

Nope. I measure the seat belt buckle relative to the transmission tunnel relative to the base of the rearmost part of the seat and they are exactly the same.

Can’t say I have noticed I am just under 6 feet and never had a problem also plenty of leg room they are slightly wider and are a snug fit but hold you really well with the side bolsters inflated and great value paid £150 well worth the money

seems like better idea to fit m3 seats because they cost same as but looks and feels much better than e46 sport seats .

Well the value of z4 m sport jobbies are going to start to plummet if everyone starts reading this! I better get mine sold and some m3 ones in while they're still worth a small fortune.

I wouldn't. M3 seats are a bit fat tbh, I felt like they didn't go far enough back and I'm only 6ft. Look how thick the backrest is and how thin it is on the Z4M sports seats, you get a lot more room.
