Congratulations on the sale Rob   .
The new owner has just bought himself a very fine example of a Z4MR.
The good ones always go very quickly, think yours sold even quicker than mine :P

Good to hear from you - hows things ?

It sounds like this car is passing from one of the true Forum gents to another!

Congratulations to Mark on the purchase. I've seen Rob's car at the National meet and its a beauty. The colour combo looks fantastic.

Hope you will stick around on the Forum Rob!!

oh yes - as you will do when the GT3 comes along

Spent a good time speaking to the new owner today- its clear that the M will be even more cherished and might make a few more events than ive managed.

this forum is the best by a country mile -911 in GB at least does not have anything remotely close.

The carpet is my OCD.. I put it on to avoid any interaction between the drivers door and the garage wall.

Modern garage, a bit tight

Perfectly sane behaviour , mirrored my own when i ceremoniously cleared the kids toys & bikes out around 7 years ago & bought a 964 .
I also have a small weight dangling so when it touches the rear window i know when to stop  sad but true
Enjoy your drive home & i look forward to the pics on route

I have carpet on one wall and underlay on the other wall so no door contact.
Don't forget the brick I never leave in gear or leave the handbrake on in the garage just put a brick under the back wheel.
Enjoy your new car halifaxbantam :driving:

Love the weight gadget Wilksy

Once I get her home and bed her down for the night, after a cocoa, I shall remove some sticky tape & attach it to the carpet on the wall.

I align the door mirror of the car with the sticky tape.

This attention to detail ensures she goes to bed in the same spot.

She will be making her full catwalk debut in front of the envious neighbours on the morning of Saturday 18th October.

The weight was a trick i picked up off my dad , with a single garage it mean's you can watch the front wings without distraction & just wait for the "clink"
Anytime you fancy a mini meet for a coffee or fish & chips in Hebden Bridge PM me , it's a great run over the moors for me

Yep, we will be doing that mate. The place is my second home.. the wife loves the place.

There is a good few of us in this neck of the woods. Looking forward to driving the short stretch between Hebden, up past Peckett Well, & into Oxenhope.

It's only a short stretch but with great bends & superb views of the road ahead, you can set the car up nicely :driving:

From Oxenhope do you ever get to the cafe at Scartop ? Or over the moor to Emmott Arms Laneshawbridge ?

Certainly do mate.

Sat on the balcony at the cafe at Scartop many a time.

Usually when I have been dragged to Boundary Mills by the wife :(

Someone has an epic motor buying this! Nice one with the sale Rob credit to you how good the car is!

I can also personally vouch for the car stunning

Cheers Tom - the great thing about this Forum is the Std of Cars is so high - > Yours, Adamskis, PVRs/Bings , OGs , Darren's, Jax, Switftlys not to mention John's , Craigs and D6GMB and i havent even started on Bryan's Alpina.

All of the above made the bar very high

Panic over banking sorted for Wednesday.

Thanks for your patience Rob... criminality has a lot to answer for.

Whilst I'm on fella's are any of the local Yorkshire lads in the motor trade?

The reason I ask is I am looking to replace our ageing Rav4 with another one. (Bullet proof for trips to the tip & Christmas tree purchases) :D

Please let me known if anyone can help chaps.

Fanx

Mark
