*SOLD* Z4MC - Alpine White, 26600 miles

Good idea about showing the mpg. Not many realise what great value these cars are and are perfectly practical as daily drivers.

Price looks realistic but that house project must be worth a lot to you to let this go as you will never be able to replace that car. Once it's gone, it's gone.

I sold a rare sought after car for a house project many years ago and have spent the years regretting it. Think long and hard before letting this go.

Cheers for the comments guys, some good ones, lol :D

It's a fair point and this has gone through my mind a few times. Unfortunately on the weighing scales of life, house outweighs car.

Deposit received so sold pending inspection. :(

It's a gorgeous ///M, shame you had to sell, but someone has got a great ///M, was it the guy on here who was looking for an ///MC?

I posted your's and wantanM's links

Cheers Darren, as many others have said, I'll be gutted when it goes. Never expect to see yourself in that position though! The buyer saw the car on pistonheads.

Oh well, just watched the new owner take the car away and I'm sat here feeling a bit sorry for myself

It was and still is a great car - I'm sure the new owner will enjoy it as much as I did. I've told him about the forum and he's already had a look so may introduce himself over the next few weeks.

It was a shame no one from the forum took it - would have been a great car for someone. In the end the Pistonheads advert generated a lot of interest, including from 3 BMW dealers, one of which offered asking price.... Seems a good thing for the direction they think values might go in the next few months?

I've not been a prolific poster on here but I'll stick around and may even be back in a Zed at some point - may even give the roadster a go to make the comparison!

In the meantime I've got a serious building project to be getting on with and keep myself busy!

Cheers all keep on :driving:

Drac, glad it sold albeit a sad day today for you. Nice to have met you at the National Meet last year and glad you had the local knowledge to get my lost group back on track  Good luck with the building project. Stick around.

Cheers Drac, as Ruby has said stick around

I thought long and hard about your ///M, even about taking out a bridging loan until mine had sold, but common sense prevailed, that's where px for the right car comes in very handy

Cheers guys, it was great to meet you too - really enjoyed my time in the Zed, the National meet being one of, if not the, highlight - was great fun and such a great bunch of people :D If everything goes well with the house project I may be back in something beginning with a Z at some point (and that won't be a Zonda lol)...

I'll stick around - was a member for 2 years before getting the Z - just so I can keep upto-date on all things Z!

Darren - shame it wasn't to be although you really do have a cracking looking Zed there mate. Bridging finance on a car is not good!
