As the Z4MR is going I have reverted back to standard and i'm selling the REMUS Back boxes.

They have been on the car for just over a year and done roughly 8000 miles. These make a fantastic noise throughout the whole rev range and are not too boomy on motorway cruising.

I'm looking for 600 quid ono for the pair of boxes, they were 1100 quid new.

Yeah did mine by popping the rear up on jack stands, just get 4 new nuts and bolts as its easier to saw/cut off the old ones if they are a bit rusted. Seem to recall needing shorter bolts for the mounting brackets too but thats about the trickiest bit....

Really easy to swap over, just require a 10 min soak in WD40 on the old nuts.

I've left the shorter bolts in the top mounts and I can supply some new nuts and bolts for the flanges.

I have these and they sound great without being intrusive - I've driven across Europe with mine fitted without finding them tiring or boomy. They also look markedly better than the OEM backboxes.

I'm surprised they were too noisy for Bedford DONDP, at 4500rpm mine return <90db at 1 metre and I've not had any problems at multiple tracks.

It surprised me too. They pass the static noise test with no problems what so ever. Its the drive by meter I tripped which at Bedford is set quite low. I posted before about it. I was fine during the morning session then it tripped in the afternoon. I have no problems at any other tracks. Bedford just has to operate under quite stringent regulations.

Some nice driving there DONDP. What sort of speed were you seeing on the straights? Assuming you were upshifting at 7,900 it looks like about 140-145mph in 5th?
