No problem, it's just a BMW part, actually for the Z4 roadster but it fits the coupe just as well :thumbsup:

Ah, I see. You would move from flimper spec to non flimper spec, that explains it :D
 
just a quick note to say the car has sold this afternoon, i know there were a couple of people off here who had messaged me lately.

overall a very simple transaction, the car was professionally inspected by a guy from the other end of the country & the report came back glowing with no issues (& a kind word about the "enthusiast" seller! :thumbsup: ).

luckily apart from one pistonheads nutter who was "definately coming to buy with cash" i didn't have any serious time wasters, the guy who bought it was only the second to view it, the first guy wasn't sure whether he wanted a 3.0 or //M so wanted to check mine out, fair enough i guess.

a big thanks to a fantastic forum, i told the new buyer to get signed up as i recieved some great advice off here, all the best guys

(oh & if you are selling a ZM & a certain T*m Asch*rl get's in touch claiming to be coming to buy the car, don't bother wasting your weekend arranging things around the guy, he won't turn up, let you know or answer any calls. twat. :thumbsup: )
