SOLD: Z4 hardtop with £300 buy it now

Buzzing to have sorted a hard top so cheap was seriously tempted to buy one for £200 more in worse condition so this is awesome!

Was me not Terry on this occasion. Welcome! If I lived nearer and wasn't going on holiday Saturday I'd have snatched it up myself!

Will do, my z is silver so hopefully won't need much, but got my car booked in for a few bits respraying on the 3rd of August so need to get it picked up before then in case it does need any bits touched up. my bodyshop guy quoted me 70-100 for a full roof respraying so worst case it's still cheap. Will probably end up re-covering the headliner but gonna set the Mrs to work on it first to see if she can clean it up before I think about that.
 
Paid PayPal so covered anyway but spoken to the seller on the phone and he seems a sound enough bloke. He actually said that was the first time he ever sold anything on eBay so didn't really know how the sales process works.

i was off out for a meal when i saw this, sent a message to seller, went out for meal and came back and sold :( would have 100% bought this if i had more time to speak with seller and call him :(

congrats to the buyer being on here (rather that than a non member :p )

my hard top quest continues !!
 
Just got back from picking up the hardtop this afternoon. 450 miles round trip so gave me my first proper long run in the z. Cost about £70 in fuel so for £370 and 9 hours of my time (terrible traffic) I'm very pleased with the investment. I have to say the difference in road noise is amazing much quieter than I expected it would be and it definitely feels to handle better, but I suppose it is like having a strut brace but over the top of the car. Anyway a quick photo for you all, need to decide whether to take the vinyl wrap off or leave it contrasting

Quite like it as is. Perhaps get wheels done in black too with the cash you saved on the roof :poke:
 
Still gutted I missed this but glad it's gone to a good home on here! I'd leave it black as it contrasts well (depending on how bad the damage is?)
