I can see its well kept but honestly i can't see anyone paying 12k for an e85.. i think you need to reconsider your asking price if you want to sell the car

As you say its all about the speed of sale. You can drop the price but you cant go up.
There's not much competition out there (well maybe one on AT  ) but if I was looking for a solid car I wouldn't be worried about making an offer for what I thought it was worth. All the seller has to say is no. If they feel insulted.. maybe there's good cause.

I hope the seller gets £12k. GLWTS

I'm with Mr T on this one. There are a couple on AT that are around the same spec and mileage and are £2k cheaper! And that's on AT!

Metallic paint, leather steering wheel, electric seats, headlight washers - half the options listed aren't even options and it doesn't have the quoted 107's fitted.

As we always say a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay but let's be honest if that goes for £12k it will have set a new record for E85’s in the UK and would probably exceed the most paid for an E86 - I'd usually say GLWTS but.on this occasion I think it will take more than luck.

As said, the market will determine the price, but there is no need to rip the car to pieces because the seller is asking strong money.
It is a 'for sale' thread after all, not a 'what do you think to my asking price?' thread. :)

OP, GLWTS and I hope you get what you want for it.

I don't remember seeing a comment where the car was ripped to pieces...if that was the case it would be wasted as a breaker.

I think it's fair to offer a comment on price...it is a 'for sale' thread after all, and along with condition etc, price is one of the major factors in a sale.

as above, i must have missed where it was ripped to pieces?

Its part and parcel of listing a car on Z4 forum - people like to critique the ad - nothing new here.

Prices certainly on the way up for decent condition cars!
Those others on AT now look a bargain for someone!

Not sure I agree with the glass half full view the ones on AT are too low. It’s seems this one is Mia priced as others have said which is actually helpful to newbies like me.
