Jamie for reference SE and Sport are Specifications not related to engine and i and si are only related to the engine.

good luck with your search, found anything interesting?

Ohhh now i seeee
On the E46 it was simplez - SE or SPORT

As for interesting - yes, what gannet has quoted below and another at the $tealers which match my citeria (i.e. fully loaded!)
There is a DISTINCT lack of decent speced cars out there post facelift for reasonable money!

so what is the best way to tell. i was reading my paperwork and found something a bit weird. on one page it has it down as an SI and on another and SE.

anyone tell me what the giveaways are? or where the definitive answer is?

From looking at BMW's AUC page, on the Coupe, Sport comes with m-steering wheel, m-seats and m-suspension. SE just have standard ones.

Not sure about roadstars though

the si moniker was introduced with the facelift wasnt it?

I thought all 3.0 post facelift were si, then there is the 2.5i and 2.5si.

i think we need one of the gurus to help us sort this one out. its going to get messy! lol

is there no easy way to tell? my car was debadged when i got it so there was nothing on there. and the two different pages i just found are confusing the hell out of me!
