NOW SOLD TO FORUM MEMBER :D

[/i][/b]An opportunity has presented itself and I've decided to treat myself to a new car. I'm reasonably happy with the PX deal being offered but know the car is worth more than offered and I really don't want a great car going to the dealer when someone may want it on here. I'm keen to offer this to a Forum Member looking for a high spec car with low miles and full service history. The car is in fabulous condition and though I've only had it since August (bought as a weekender) I've spent money on it to get it to how I wanted it. Spec as follows:

2007 2,5si manual 6spd - 45600 miles - Service History - MOT May 18. Silver Grey with Black and Red individual leather.
18mv Alloys refurbished when I bought the car (no marks) and brand new Michelin PS4 tyres put on (covered less than 700 miles)
Bluetooth - Cruise - Chrome Exhaust Tips - Black Grill - Uprated Lighting - Heated Seats - Uprated Professional Speakers.
Oil and Filters changed when I bought the car - New Wiper Blades.
Body work is in excellent condition - No dents, bangs or scratches. Seats also excellent (slight wear on drivers side bolster).
Some minor/usual stone chips but not noticeable. The hood has no rips, tears or leaks but some minor markings in places due to the hood being stored over the years. One of the things on my list was to fully clean an treat the roof as this will make it good as new. The other was to make friends with Mike (DLV) and move the roof motor as a long term precaution . However, the roof works faultlessly.

All in all the car drives absolutely flawlessly, sounds great, is pretty economical and a lot of fun to drive! I'm in the Bolton area and can be contacted via PM (07500 329453). Car is on an 07 plate and Reg not included in sale.

Car is due to be PX'd next week so if no one wants it here it will sadly go. £6800 due to condition and low miles

Many thanks for looking. Ian.

And you’ve only just fitted Cruise control.

Good luck with you sale though

Cheers Steve/Colin. Thought this was a keeper for next years Euro Trips but slight change of plan. Hope the CC addition will help make the car more appealing to someone.

Beautiful car. Wish it had been around when I bought mine earlier in the year. Good luck with the sale.

That is a lovely looking car with a lot of plus points, deserves to go to a good home.. GLWTS

Decided to drop the price in the hope I wont have to Part Ex the car. Its too good to go to auction! Car must go before next Friday.

£6500 will see it go but if someone offered slightly less for immediate sale I'd be tempted - if going to a Z4 enthusiast!.

I'm probably also going to give e-bay a go just in case.

Full details in listing.

If you're getting no interest offer it for px value or a little over. Rather have it go to a forum member imo than auction.

Wow, that is a real bargain at that mileage and condition!!! Surely there must be a buyer waiting in the wings for that.

Thanks PH. You’re right. Breaking my heart TBH but another car I’ve been waiting on has come up early. Just wish I could keep hold of it till Spring and sell it then as it would easy fetch 7k+ given the spec and condition. Just hope someone sees it before it goes in PX.

It’s pretty close to PX allowance now TBH because of mileage and condition. If it does go PX there be a few items coming off it that I’ll offer on the Forum. This might possibly include swaping the refurbed wheels and brand new PS4s that are on it for a similar wheel set with some cash my way? Timescales may be an issue though.

Thankfully its looking like the car will stay with a Forum Member as now provisionally sold!
Will update once completed but its looking like a positive result for all involved and I'm really happy the car will remain linked to the forum.

Sorry Dan if you’d have been interested. The sale will hopefully go through okay over weekend with a nice chap who joined the Forum recently to buy a Z. I’ll be sure to let you know if not though as it’s an absolute belta of a car which is why I spent money on it when I bought it.

Unfortunately my third mid life crisis kicked when I found a car recently that was on my wish list to have before I retire. Shame it came along a bit early as sorry to see the Z go but I managed to work a deal with Williams Manchester on a car registered at the end of October that’s discounted to a price that means I can do it now. I’m sticking with a BM of course but not a Z. I think I might just wait till everything compleated with the sale of the Z before I introduce it to the Forum. It’s a beauty though!

That's a real pity Dan.
Keeping us all in suspenders eh :D
Intrigued to find out what your new BM is.

NOW SOLD:

Big thank you to Simon for making the 200 mile trip up to Bolton today to collect his new car (or more to the point his wife's!).

He left for home very happy as grabbed a bit of a bargain as the car was a stunner. Sad to see it go but really happy that its going to a good home and is still on the Forum.

Enjoy the car Simon and Diane and thanks again.
