Hi,

I have a set of style 103 wheels for sale which have been powdercoated in anthracite. I totally appreciate these wheels are not the most popular style but thought I'd give it a try.

2 of the wheels are immaculate and 2 of then have 1 very small kerb mark that can be seen in the photos. All 4 have tyres which have only covered 500 miles from new. I'm assuming they're a budget brand so again might not be of any interest. Aptany Sport Macro.

The tough bit is price. I genuinely have no idea of what they're worth. Can i suggest a price of £250 and folk can advise if I'm way off the mark on this one?

Thanks all for looking!

I recently sold my 103s mint condition with new centre caps took ages and most I could get was £200 because these are the standard wheels the guy who bought mine got them for his z3

Om, thanks for the advice. I think for £200 I'd probably just keep them as winters. Happily let them go for £250

As greg mentioned there is not a huge appetite for 17s and with budget tyres on it will be a difficult sell..they will make a good winter tyre though with some decent rubber on them

Same goes for 16's! Let my 104's go with Bridgestones for less than £100! The market just isn't there... Keep for winter if you have the space! :)

Thanks to all for the advice. I won't hold my breath for a quick sale :D

Keep them as winters and leave add for £250? If someone bites then you can rethink whether to sell or keep them?

Thanks....I'm awaiting a much overdue set of 17 wheels, given where I live the existing 19 wheels and run flats have a life expectancy measured in yards...

I'm sure most BMW wheels are interchangeable. All run 5x120. (Bar super old 4 stud models).
Offsets you'd have to check, but my thoughts is they should be okay. It's only some 5 series and other really low offsets that don't fit (arch rub). Plus if you get some X5 wheels with tyres and don't expect them to fit... tyres will be all wrong.

E46 wheels should be "plug and play".

Hi thanks to all comments, what J size are these? Are they symmetrical front and rear?

Alloys themselves are 8x17 square. With an offset of 47. Sometimes you can do staggered tyres... 225 and 245. Looks like O.P. has a square set up of 225/45/17.

Thanks for helping out with all this info, much appreciated

I'll do these for £200 for forumers if collected from Edinburghshire

Hello I will take them please, if you PM me we can sort it out? Thnx Peter

Hi
Do you have any pics of them on the car?
I also have a set for winter and interested in how they look in that colour. Thinking of getting mine refurbished.
Thanks
Daz
