First registered 01-09-2003 it has a fully documented service history (see below) and is HPI clear. The last service & brake fluid change was a few hundred miles ago in Nov 2021. The previous MOT expired October 2022 but I’ve put a new 12 month MOT on to sell, now expiring July 2023 with no advisories. I’ve run almost exclusively on Shell V-Power 99 Oct E5 fuel. The personalised plate has just been removed and is now registered on its original number NU53 AUC with the V5 registration document.

Being the SE it has automatic Xenon headlamps with headlamp washers, auto wipers, auto dipping mirror, electric door mirrors, 6 disc changer, 10 speaker BMW Business audio, auto climate control, BMW mesh wind blocker and all items like first aid kit, tools kit etc and all keys are present.

The Goodyear Eagle tyres have approx. 6mm front and 5.2mm rear tread. An aftermarket tyre inflator and puncture seal can are included. The genuine BMW over mats are in excellent condition, the fitted carpets are unmarked. The black leather seats have very little wear and certainly no marks/scuffs or shabbiness, they have regularly been cleaned and treated with quality products. The roof is in excellent condition and whips up and down faultlessly, the roof has been regularly cleaned with BMW products.

I bought the car in 2010 from a former Forum member and have had the car over 12 years. I’ve attended to it’s every need (See schedule below) so it has a well-documented history plus brochures and owners manuals. The car has zero problems, absolutely no funny noises, no rattles and has never had any engine warning lights. To my knowledge it’s never had panel damage and the only paint work was a professionally repaired minor surface scuff on the front bumper (invoice on file). Consequently, it’s in fantastic condition and drives like it should.

I’ve only used it on dry days (in fact is has sometimes gone 12 months without being caught in a shower!) and has never been on a salted road in my ownership. I’ve done very few short journeys and it’s mostly used for sunny trips-out with the roof down. It’s been wintered in a dry garage under cover on a Ctek battery conditioner every year, it's in totally original standard spec and gets admiring comments at meets, shows and from MOT testers.

I looked at a lot of cars before buying and decided on the best available regardless of engine size, I’ve tried to keep it that way. I will be sad to see it go, but new projects and now spending extended periods abroad following retirement means that it will get even less than the little use it’s had, so it’s regrettably time to move on. I’m not being greedy with the forum asking price which is strictly fixed, as can be seen its advertised elsewhere for more money but I will honour the first deal with a deposit.

Questions from prospective purchasers are very welcome,

Located for viewing TA6 Somerset just 5 mins from M5 Junction 23.
Cheers, Greg.

Re: Insp 2 was due in Dec 2020 (mid-pandemic) at which point it had done only 500 miles since the last service. The car was lightly used between lock-downs so the service was delayed to Nov 2021.

LAST SERVICE & brake fluid - Nov 2021 Insp 2 self-service with top quality Shell Helix HX8 Oil, MANN oil, air & cabin filters per receipts on file. (Spark plugs were examined and having covered low miles they were in excellent condition not requiring replacement).
Brake fluid changes are up-date last being Nov 2021 when new braided stainless brake hoses were fitted.

Repairs & replacement of consumables
• 2010 Passengers window regulator professionally replaced with full genuine BMW part (not just a cable kit).
• Front (2013) and rear (2016) brake callipers replaced with refurbished units, Pagid Discs, Textar high-ceramic E-Pads and BMW pad sensors. As can be worked out from the MOT mileage history these have only done a few thousand miles.
• 2015 Front suspension refresh including anti-roll bar bushes, front lower trailing arm ‘lollypop’ bushes, track rod end plus 4-wheel alignment. Again, these have only done a few thousand miles
• 2016 Rear springs replaced (standard Sachs SE height)
• Dec 2017 GM5 (central locking) module refurbished
• Aug 2018 Battery replaced
• 2021 Stainless Wesmoto braided brake hoses & Fuel filler seal replaced
• Goodyear Eagle tyres have approx. 6mm front and 5.2mm rear tread

A proper 'forum car' by the looks of it. Seems like a great proposition; really low mileage, good price and obviously well looked after.

GLWTS

That looks absolutely stunning and is a credit to you. I wish this had been available when I was looking for a Z last November. I am sure someone is going to be delighted to find such a well cared for example. GLWTHS.

Rob, IRD & Paddy, thanks for your comments, I'm sure I'll stick around on the forum, it's been a big part of Z4 ownership 👍

I’ve seen this car a number of times displayed at local car shows and can confirm it’s in beautiful condition.
I can also say Greg drives it like a pussy so it’s never had a hard life😂

Thanks very much for the comments on condition, but re driving style that's a cheap shot that I can't really contradict 😄

Make a couple more posts somewhere - once you've made 3 you can send PMs.
