& still with the induction kit :? :o :| if so that should be tempting somebody before a dealer whisks it away & adds £3k to it

They don't ever seem to sell at those prices tho...or it takes forever. Or you think they've sold and then you see it relisted a month later

Of course its a fickle market that we do know but it isn't that hard to work it out  dealers obviously try speculative ask prices but in reality if you break down the actual car itself that is most likely the reason it hasn't sold as opposed to its price ?
Whether that be iffy colour scheme , iffy history , poorly specced , high miles & that's before any potential buyer even makes a trip to see a car which is most likely hours away to then find possible stone chipped front end , seat wear , raggy alloys or tired discs & tyres etc :(
There aren't that many to choose from at any one time but the ones that can tick out the most boxes & still be under the price of all its rivals must surely stand out as a decent buy :? Maybe not with £3k added by a dealer but as it stands the OPs car is far from pricey imo

Fair points, no one's even been to see the car yet but hopefully it ticks enough boxes when somebody does!

Haha phew!

I think it comes back to the view that there are only so many people buying 10-year-old performance cars within a market at a certain time. Most folk would rather spend their £600+ a month on a new PCP'd 240i or similar, to then find they own jack s**t equity of the car when they come to chop it in after 36 months. Weirdly, people don't seem to value real 'ownership' anymore, perception of my 66 plate car is more important, it seems the normal British mentality.

Now for sale on Sytners website as an AUC at £20K as previously predicted on here :headbang:

and they'll sell it for 17.5k... they just have the time to wait ....

Well done , lets sell em cheap so a dealer can buy and add 6k to the price. You was utterly MAD to let that to let that go for 14k, you sold the car for pricing as if it had double the miles....

Main thing is your happy.....

Very surprised a private buyer didn't snap this up, looked such a bargain at that money...how many serious enquiries did you get? Buy it, run it for 6 months, sell in summer and you might even have made a profit...

Now, if you were to get that car for £19k, new service and with that 1 year peace of mind AUC warranty...it's still quite good value.

18.5k negotiate a 2year warranty..... very nice low mile car and hassle free to enjoy the car as much as possible.

Not much interest from private buyers even at that price. Terrible time of year to try and shift one I know but there was a deal on an approved used C63 that I couldn't miss (the Z4 was always a bit of a stopgap until I could find the right one and I bought this before the photos even went up) and having 3 cars would be a bit much atm.

I've got to say credit to Sytners they agree the price with me last November and didnt try to knock it down at all when I came in last week. The closest PX value I could get was 11k! I paid 16k from a (non franchised) dealer a year ago for it so only paying a 2k dealer spread is fine by me!
