Bought this from a main dealer to fit to my Coupe as it's a bit shorter & heavier than the original one (but doesn't have illumination). Never fitted as I have since bought a Storm Motorwerks Titanium gear knob from Andy on the Forum.

Immaculate condition and looking for £22.00 delivered.

:o That seems a bargain. I bought a std replacement one for £60+ it was illuminated though.

Hi,

Where did you get the illuminated one?

Main dealer, Coopers Tunbridge Wells, it was a direct replacement for the original. Illuminated is standard in the ///M, apologies if you already knew.

Yes, I knew that thanks :-) was asking as mine is no longer illuminated :-(

Arrived, thanks, just as described and great packaging!

First attempt at removing the old knob hasn't gone well though, lol. Even with straddling the transmission tunnel in a coupe :?

Weatabix for breakie tomorrow!

Get a really good grip on your KNOB :o and yank it like never before

Pop down to Machine Mart and buy a cheap slide hammer - it'll come off in no time and you not have a black eye or swollen bollox for the next two weeks. It'll not take much to rig up something to fit underneath the knob.

P.S - you'll not damage anything in the gearbox because the gear stick doesn't go directly into it, it's on a remote linkage so it'll take some abuse.
