SOLD
Hi Everyone - Not posted for a while - work got busy - but we still have the Z.
I am selling a Complete Gruppe M Induction Kit
The noise this kit makes is amazing, really opening the throat of the car with wide throttle openings , but magically - OK not magically, but with experience, expertise and good R&D - none of the usual cruising drone you can get with some intake enhancments.
So - it's loud when you want it to be and quiet when you want that too.
ALL parts are there, including the MAF sensor spacer and correct screws, bracket and correct nut and bolt, All hose clips, hose extension, etc. It's ready to fit and should take about an hour to replace the OEM airbox if you take your time.
Throwing in a "used once" can of K&N Oil too

Looking for £500

Collection from Notts, 5 miles from Newark.
Or I travel around with work a bit, and will be in Lowestoft/Norwich next week (w/c 10th) and Newcastle in a couple of weeks(w/c 17th and 24th)
Or will post at Post office cost.
Here are some pictures. - Sorry they are stupidly oversized.

waaaaaAAAAAAARP!

It was not designed to be a straight fit for the 3.0 SI. The part numbers are different for the OEM airboxes , and ( more relevantly) the diameter of the pipe after the airbox is different.
A reducer of some sort would definitely be needed for that engine type.

Hi there. I am interested. I was looking at a eventuri but these are actually better from what I hear with a more aggressive noise?

Can you let me know how old the intake is and how many miles has it covered? Is the condition excellent

Cheers Stu

Controversial :o

Where did you hear that as I've not come across any comparisons.

Seen a couple of posts on the forums and from listening to YouTube clips.....but as you say nothing officially comparing them.

What's your view as a gruppe M owner?

Did read somewhere on here that the afe intake is the closest sounding to a gruppe m, my car had one fitted when I got it, it's certainly loud but it's not as good looking or have the build quality of the gruppe or the eventuri.
I think this looks great, if I wasn't wanting aero skirts so badly I'd be extremely interested in this.
Surprised it's not been snapped up yet.

OK, so I bought mine before the Eventuri was available so there was no real choice. I don't know anybody personally who has an Eventuri so cannot compare, but had heard the GruppeM.

I prefer the look of the Gruppem as the CF Housing looks as if it has been designed to fit the Z4M, where as the Eventuri looks like it using any old CF housing with a specific bracket.

As to which performs better I have no idea. I know what Eventuri say, but could easily be marketing talk. Also on a car with around 340bhp any difference either way is going to be negligable.

Why did I buy mine? For the sound, this was the only reason, oh and it looks nice.

I have just fitted gutted OEM rear boxes and a few forum buddy's will be the first to hear in just over a week, I will be interested to hear what they say about it in conjunction with the GruppeM.
