Essex and no I didn’t but grom tech support were very good, I just learned to live with it. It doesn’t affect all cars apparently

There are two versions of DSP. Early cars had digital which require the adapter mentioned. Later cars (around 2005 onwards) have analogue DSP which doesn’t require an adapter.

Mines a 2003 so very much an early car! Thanks though, didn't know that!
