Hello Gents/Ladies,

Selling my pride and joy! Arrival of baby forces me to sell, and get something sensible and diesel! :(

The car has a full service history, BMW stamps up until the last two services which were done. At 82,450 miles now, the car has not long had the big inspection 2 service (62,000), and the oil service (78831). The next Inspection 1 service isn't due for another 12,000 miles. The engine runs flawlessly, and pulls like a train.

It flew through this years MOT. It's currently MOT'd until September 2012 and Road Tax up until Feb 2012.

Condition of the car is absolutely excellent for a 7 year old car. For the sake of honesty the car has 1 or 2 very minor marks on the paint and alloys, but you have to be looking very closely to see these and not unexpected for the age. The interior is spotless, again with a few tiny marks but nothing you can see unless looking for them. I'm genuinely very proud of the cars condition, and it's the same (if not better) than when I bought it due to having given it a very thorough (9 hour) detail earlier this year! The roof is still totally waterproof, and the mechanism is still working like new.

On the motorway at 70mph, I can get 40mpg even with the roof down. I once drove from Norwich to Guildford and managed 42mpg average over a 360 mile journey!
For a 3.0 car that does 0-60 in 5.9seconds, that's pretty incredible. Combined driving, I genuinely average 30-35mpg. It's not the cost of running it that's forcing me to sell, but the practicality with my new arrival!

I recently installed a Parrot Bluetooth MKi 9200 for the iPod functionality. This is a fantastic bit of kit and shows album artwork and playlists etc.

Up until I sell the car I will still be using it so the mileage may go up.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am open to sensible offers.

I'm based in Godalming, Surrey.
Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
John

I think you're being optimistic on price, especially with that mileage. I'd advertise it at below £8k and be looking to deal as close as you can to £7,500.

I recently sold my 3 litre with a similar spec (including Z4M wheels, new tyres, 65k miles and SMG) for £7,400, though SMG isn't to everyone's preference, I know.
