Very nice! This is EXACTLY the spec I am looking for....except I want an auto :(
I loved the z4 ever since I saw a black one riding on Alpina's.

I would not dismiss that manual box if that is the car you like. Much more fun anyway ...

Thanks guys,

I also considered the auto option. I then rememberd that it is a roadster, so wanted the connection you feel with the car which is all part of the roadster experience IMO.

The clincher was when I happend to read the Topgear magazine while waiting for a train at Euston station, the mag advised to get a 3.0 Manual. So I did. :)

I don't miss the auto option at all as the clutch is a joy, cruise control is good for the motorway... No complaints at all, what a great car

I know what you mean. All my driving is stop-start, town based commuting to work.
I'm sick of my manual and love the BMW auto box.
We have an e46 M3 in the house, SMG...it's a nice compromise, but the auto option is atrocious!

I was stating that if I was looking for an auto box , but everything was perfect in a manual car, I would not ditch that manual car just because it was manual ...

God, I love those Alpina wheels on the Z4. They look great......  Good luck with the sale but them wheels on their own should sell this car for you.

(Wonder what they would look like on a silver coupe!! anyone handy with photoshop!).

Same here when i was looking for a replacement zed.
I used to have auto - but manual is a DIFFERENT car!!!

BUT if manual is not for you, its not for you - BUT you should at least try it!

lovely car i am looking for a z4 and looked at this one on pistonheads then saw the deposit taken :(, just wondering is it lowered ? wheels sit just right.

Hi,

Yes, i'm afraid the car is now sold. The car isn't lowered, just the standard Sport suspension setup. It is a very nice one, the new owner is going to love it. :driving:

Good luck with your search

Dammit, that is absolutely stunning. Approaching the price I paid for my 2005 pre-facelift a couple of years ago.

Very, very nice.
