Inspired by the iconic IWC B-Uhren watch used by the pilots of the second world war, the C8 combines a strong retro influence with many high-tech contemporary features including a soft-iron anti-magnetic cage which surrounds the superb Sellita automatic movement.

The Sellita SW200-1 self-winding mechanical movement is the most common in fine watchmaking.
A solid construction, including a strong mainspring, makes it reliable and robust, boasting a classic frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (that's eight ticks per second).
