really p4k1 your welcome to your opinion but not really constructive is it more childish any lets hope you never come to sell something on here and are targeted with foolish comments if you don't like it what need do you have to comment maybe better to keep your mouth shut if it was a discussion on whether you like it or not then fair play :x anyway op good luck with sale if I had the funds I would defo be having a punt at it as I don't always like to follow the norm and that hood is special :thumbsup:
 
Cheers for the comments all - as I said in the original ad, the styling is clearly not to everyone's taste!

Hopefully I won't have to resort to giving it away for free, but if I do at least that's one less person I need to ask :thumbsup:

Will do, you going to be anywhere else between now and then? Might be able to take a weekday, will let you know.
 
Looked at this quite a few times - its growing on me but I have a few questions. How big an issue is the adjustment needed to get it to avoid the boot lid? Is that connected to the lack of stoppers? I don't suppose its possible to get replacements anymore? Does the stand collapse enough to take it home in a Z4? Do you have a photo of it?

i would love this , i really would i wish they'd really looked t the styling, it just doesnt look right at all..... I've viewed this thread numerous times in the hope this view will change!

Hi,

The stand doesn't collapse but it can be disassembled and will fit comfortably in the boot- I took it back in mine without issue. It's not terrible- it never stops the boot from opening, but if it's not put on properly you need to open the boot as level as possible. Fairly sure the guy before me said had the boot lid adjusted a mm rather than adjust the connectors. Should be a five minute job for an indi, if it doesn't fit right off the bat. I believe you can still get the stoppers!
