Hi

Does this connect to the car at the CD changer end or the radio end?

If it's the CD changer end, and if it shows ID3 tags on the display, then I'll take it for my M5.

Thanks! In that case, I'll take it (and will send the OP a PM).

(I used to have a Dension Ice>>Link Plus in the M5 but I recently removed it. The CD Changer is in the boot, so very easy to access, whereas I just don't want to rip the dash apart to get to the back of the radio. I never touch the iPod when I'm in the car anyway - it just lives in the boot on "random play".)

Did you have sat nav? As I noticed it says there needs to be an extra cable for sat nav equipped cars.
Cheers
Joe

Yes, I do have the (fairly useless) BMW Sat Nav in the M5. Is that what the "SAT module" means? I had assumed that it was something to do with Sirius radio or something ...

CD changer end.... . Hence the length of the connecting cable.

Yep its at the CD changer end at the rear of the centre console accessed through the boot. My old roadster never had nav so not sure of any nav compatibility issues??

Hmm. I'll give it a miss then with it needing the cable for sat nav.
The additional cable is only needed if you have SATellite radio (Sirius), which is not available in the UK. It's nothing to do with SATellite navigation.

And I've just bought this (and sent payment) :)
