Hi,

Update 12/07/2012 - My Z is back up for sale again, am after a Z4MC and feel the time has come to move on, below is the original ad I posted a while ago with some obviously updated (tyres, tax, mileage etc) details so this is as the car stands today, will be part exchanging this weekend:

After buying the car in September 2011 I can say it is almost the perfect car. However, the one thing I feel I need after owning it is a roof! I liked the thought of a convertible but now am not so sure, may regret this when the summer does arrive (am assured it's just around the corner!) In hindsight it would have been better if I had researched and waited a little longer but when this car came up and I viewed, wowzer; I was blown away but eventually realised the convertible is just not for me. So I'm going to sell to find my perfect Z4C or potentially Z4MC. I cannot describe to you enough how immacualte this car is, I feel a bit of a fool for selling a car that is in such excellent condition but if I don't get that M now I never will...so here are the details:

Sterling grey metallic
Manual
Registered on the 20/12/2003 so a late 2003 '53' Reg
Has covered only 36,750 miles
FSH: Pre-delivery check at Wollaston BMW Northampton, Oil Service at Elms BMW Bedford (12,425 miles) then Inspection 1 at Paddock Motors BMW Specialist Exeter (25,293 miles)
Showing 3100 miles until the next service which is only a low cost oil service
Brake fluid changed in June 11'
Plenty of life left on the brakes
Had a new battery in July 2010 at a cost of £120
Tax until 31/10/12
MOT until 20/12/12
3 previous owners, 1st being BMW on 19/12/2003, then 1st proper owner in April 2004 and next owner was the person I bought from. I was told the car has always been garaged and well cared for, this for me was proven in the condition of it
Both keys, all previous MOT's and tax discs and paperwork with books, manuals, bills etc
Tyres are all Bridgestone Potenza Runflats with good tread remaining (5mm on front and 7mm on rear)
Alloys are unmarked - In near perfect condition, are 103 style
Roof is in perfect condition, no marks, no rips etc and drains are clear
Interior is unscratched, not dented and in unbelievably fantastic condition. Very slight wear to driver's bolster but really is minor, never smoked in
Exterior is also in amazing condition, very few stone chips or marks
Springs in A1 condition
HPI clear (have certificate from Sept 11')

Equipment
On top of the standard set up which I won't list is the following goodies:

Heated Oregon red leather memory seats
Cruise control
Auto Xenon lights with washers
2012 3D DVD Sat Nav
6 CD multichanger
BMW Business Loudspeaker system (10 speaker with amp and subwoofer)
Bluetooth
Parking sensors
Auto dimming mirrors
First aid pack
Auto lights and wipers
OEM Wind Deflector
Aux in (for iPod etc)

This really has been a second car all it's life and has been much loved and pampered, it will not disappoint. I would strongly recommend you to come and take a look! Advertised here before going to likes of Autotrader, PH, eBay etc. Some pictures included below, I will attempt to get some more up later. Please do not hesitate to contact, this is a genuine reason for sale. The car really is amazing what with the mileage, condition and factory optional extras; even have the original receipt for over £36,000!!

Thanks for the responses guys, in a way I see what you're saying but when you put a Coupe next to a Roadster with a hard top on for me there is no contest. It's just the lines of the Coupe that I love aswell. At the same time, when I did drive with the top down in September I felt a little uncomfortable, a tad self conscious and I'm not the show off type (says he that wants a Z4 Coupe and no offence to convertible drivers!) This car is perfect for someone that wants a convertible though, it really is great in every way but just not for me.

Still debating slightly whether to keep until Spring/Early Summertime and sell then for what might be a similar price and more demand because it's not like I hate the car or anything, I can obviously live with it!! What do you think?

Buy a hard top .... run with it over the winter .... if you are still keen to sell in the spring then you will get back what you paid out on the hardtop. You might find your own car difficult to move on before Feb/March anyway .

Again, good points and worth considering. TBH I don't feel the need for a hardtop, I just want a Coupe! I should explain that it's not just a roof I miss, I also love the back end on a Coupe and all the other points I mentioned above aswell so put together = Buy a Coupe, I think Paza3 is in a similar situation?! For me the hardtop just looks like an afterthought, the ones I've seen it appears that they kinda don't fit properly, I'm sure in real life it looks better tho. Saw an M Coupe today, But you're right, I might have to wait until Spring/Summer to sell mine and buy a Coupe then, but that's no biggie :P

Replied

That tax disc won't stay there long with the roof open :D

Don't worry, it now has a very nice tax disc holder  It's blue aswell (the tax disc!) and cost me a lot of £££!! Will try and get some more lovely pics up soon...

i really need this car lol, when can i come pick her up :D money waiting

Nova 2k7 (Rob!) spoken too, after missing out on the Coupe I posted on separate thread, not much else on the market, having to MOT/Tax the car and not getting any use has resulted in me deciding to keep the car and wait to see what happens later in the new year. Thanks for interest... :)

For anyone who is interested in this car , I have seen this car in the flesh on Friday last week and its a fantastic example. It’s just as Woo7dy describes it so anyone thinking of travel it well worth the distance, a rare find

He also a very genuine seller, good luck with the sale mate
