Yes it does have auto lights.
The Gaptech uses the normal BMW key. The Gaptech also allows for one touch to open and close the roof when in the car. it’s a major improvement . My Previous Z4 did not have Gaptech and you had to hold the open and close button for the duration of the opening or closing.

The car has had eight owners, many of them have only done small mileage, I have used it more than the other owners ( as I did with my previous Z4) because I just love driving it. It’s great on country roads and around town and just purrs on the motorway. Plus the in my opinion it’s the best Z4 colour, my previous Z4 was also Sterling grey, I just think that the colour really suits the shape of the car.
