11/9/14: SOLD

I have a BMW mesh and leather wind deflector for sale for the E85 - part number 54700150671.

It has been used on my Z4 for 2 years before being taken off in May. Thanks to the terrible summer in both 2012 and 2013 it's barely seen any sunlight!
It includes the bag, it's in immaculate condition, and I will post photos if required.

Looking for £80 delivered in UK recorded delivery.

Is that not a bit on the cheap side?

Appreciate it's second hand but thought these also fetched a premium (although god knows why, they look awful - I can say that because I have one) :D

You're welcome to pay me above the asking price if you feel that way :P

I just felt it was a realistic asking price I was happy to take. Hopefully someone else can get some good use out of it.

My wind deflector is fitted 24/7 365 - just waiting for the opportunity for hood down. Who needs sunlight? It just doesn't need to be too wet! :driving:

Forgive my ignorance, but what options are there with regards to deflectors?

Viewing a car tomorrow with a view to buying but it doesn't have any deflector fitted. I assumed they came as standard with the car. I had a steel mesh one on my Z3 that folded down when not in use, so there was no need to ever remove it.

They didn't come as standard. As far as I understand they were all optional add ons.

The options were either:
- The mesh/leather one I have advertised here, where leather pieces slip over the roll hoops and there are some straps and clips which attach to other trim, and can be taken on/off as required (or just leave it on 24/7 as most people do).

- A solid one, which clips in between the roll hoops, as well as inserts for the holes in the roll hoops. Adding the clips to the roll hoops require the roll hoops to be prised apart and (I believe - happy to be corrected) essentially broken, so you also have to get replacement hoops.

Consider this an unconditional offer at £80 posted :-)
Will be in touch after work today to arrange details.
Ta,
Charlie
