SOLD** Ball for BMW Watch - Chronograph Chronometer

Afternoon people,

Thought I'd post this up here, to see if there is any interest.

I bought this watch in January 2017 (I have all papers and box, including receipts and delivery notices etc.) as being both a BMW fan and budding collector of watches, I couldn't resist.

However, an impending house purchase and need to release funds towards a new bathroom means I need to let this go.

It is currently on eBay for £2300, but that is merely to cover the eBay / paypal fees. I am looking to get £2000 back from the watch, however, as the forum has given me so much over the years, I'll accept £1800 from a forum member.

The watch is limited edition (mine is number 0022 of 1000) commissioned to celebrate both BMW's centenary year and Ball's 125th anniversary.

It is a COSC certified Chronometer and is a seriously beautiful watch. eBay link is below for photos, but do ask if you have any questions.

As an update to this, I have agreed a trade in price with a retailer in Chiswick, which I will be accepting and dropping the watch off on 6 December.

In the interim, I will accept any price north of £1,450.

Definitely this :wink:

For me, it's a rare and unusual watch, has most of Ball's patented technologies and that is was a limited edition run to celebrate BMW's centenary was the icing on the cake for me.

It's definitely been a great talking point.

But hey, the Planet Ocean is a lovely watch too. Not a bad position to be in :thumbsup:
 
I have a couple of Ball watches in my collection,they are excellent.

I prefer them to many of the high end watches,build quality is superb.

Someone is going to get a nice piece here....
