While his bumper didnt look great it is somewhat harsh criticising his grammar.

Quite a few non UK members here... Where english isnt their first language.

Perhaps if the seller wasn't mis-representing their item, they wouldn't be getting this abuse?

Advert says good condition, needs repainting.

Well quite clearly it needs a lot more than that :lol:

I didn't know he was Polish as his profile shows a British flag.
What I said was his grammar was as shite as his bumper, which is the truth!! :roll:
 
OK I think we should cut him some slack enough is enough. I accept it was wrong not to show the actual bumper being sold but

Indeed, i run a fairly large forum and i'd have knocked most of those posts on the head long ago, this one is fairly small active member base wise, and this isn't exactly a stellar showing from some people

It's not abuse though, it's fact.

That bumper is not in good condition. If someone hadn't seen that and driven 50 miles for it, they's go mad, and rightly so.

OP already stated that the pic he used was from the Internet. Ok fair enough its not the ideal picture to illustrate the item he is selling. But taking the piss out of his grammar/language is just classless.

if someone drove anywhere without looking at pictures of something they're morons in fairness
 
How many times do I have to say 'I didn't know he was Polish' I thought he was some numpty chancer selling a dodgy bumper. Get off your high horses will ya!

3 pics from the Internet on an eBay ad without any mention of that in the advert? Yeah ok :lol: pull the other one!
 
Hmm.. this thread went a bit off topic.
I have no clue what the actual bumper was, but I think now its beetween buyer and seller. Probably even a Pole wouldnt advertised half of a bumper as good condition with minor scratches.. but some problems might've occured during the translation process. TBH thats wasnt the best example of fine english, lets call it average ;-)

And the flag is supposed to represent where you live, not where you come from, right?

Anyways, probably the best idea would be to clean up this thread leaving only substantial posts, whithout all the hassle.

Its threads like this which makes me feel this forum really has gone down hill.

He sold a shoddy item... But picking him up on his use of language is appalling considering the people taking the piss are hardly english scholars with their own poor grammar.

I agree with McKoval... This thread needs cleaning up and locking now.

And I don't profess to be an English scholar either. I thought more of you than to start a fight over something so trivial :roll:
